AGR is a leading provider of specialist services to the international petroleum industry within well construction and engineering project management, HSEQ, reservoir and field management delivering solutions for the entire field life cycle from exploration through appraisal to development and production, in addition to tailored training, software and consultancy manpower.

With a worldwide reputation for innovative, safe and environmentally friendly solutions to key exploration and production challenges, AGR has an impressive track record. It has drilled more than 500 wells in the past 13 years including the world’s deepest HPHT wells at 34,000ft. AGR is capable of drilling in every possible environment including HPHT, the Hoop area of the Barents Sea, sensitive and deep-water areas and has also completed 1,000 reservoir studies in only five years. AGR has a strong track record on HSE with a zero policy on accidents and environmental spills.

Further, AGR is benefitting from the strong focus on Increased Oil Recovery (IOR) in the North Sea with target recovery factors of +50% set by the government. Thus, AGR holds a strong in-house expertise wihtin the IOR segment which is relevant for maximizing the production from PNGF SUD, such as advanced drilling, horizontal drilling and stimulation, completion technology and tertiary recovery mechanisms such as WAG and polymer flooding.

AGR has had a long-standing and fruitful cooperation with Hemla over the years, both as a founding partner in the start-up years, as well as a technical partner and will continue the good cooperation and draw on AGR’s experience from the many wells drilled and reservoir studies performed to support Hemla E&P Congo on PNGF Sud and other projects within all of AGR's areas of expertise.
