Our Project

PNGF Sud

Supported by the consortium of founders and partners formed by Hemla of Norway,  Petromal of Abu Dhabi, AGR Petroleum Services and a local Congolese partner, Hemla E&P Congo  participated in the bid round  organized by the Ministry of Hydrocarbons, September - November 2016, where it has been awarded a 20% participating interest in PNGF Sud.

Hemla E&P Congo's partners in the asset are Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo – SNPC (15%), Continent Congo S.A. (10%), Africa Oil & Gas Corporation (10%), Petro Congo (5%) and Perenco (40%), which is also the operator.

The license, which is located in shallow water 25 km off the coast of Pointe Noire (Congo), encompasses Tchendo, Tchibouella, Tchibouela Est, Tchibeli and Litanzi fields, as well as certain installations, jointly designated as PNGF Sud.

PNGF Sud is an active  asset   currently producing 15,000 barrels of oil per day.

We are excited to work closely with our local and international partners in the PNGF Sud license and implement our  commitments to the Government and people of Congo.
